I’ve tried Fastmail, Google Workspace, Hey, Namecheap and my country’s local company service for custom domain mail. Now I am using iCloud Custom Domain.
The service is included with my monthly iCloud Drive subscription, so basically free addition to service I already paid.
So far so good, the web interface is bad UX-wise tho. I cannot know exactly, but I hope Apple is true to their words on not spooping on my private emails.

I just knew this terminal utility from Reddit:
fm.awk, a file manager written in
sed are the tool I never use—except some
sedlike commands in
vim. Knowing the tool can be extended to be a TUI File Manager is mindblowing 🤯
I published all slides that I did in slides.ybbond.id.
Two of them are redirect link to Google’s Slides. The latest slide is about WebMention, created in only 2 hours (!!) using Reveal.js.
Granted, I can work faster with code, rather than with GUI Software like Apple’s Keynotes, Google’s Slides or Microsoft’s PowerPoint.
It’s awesome how influential Apple’s decisions are.
macOS Big Sur introduced new icon design guidelines?
Cross platform applications ‘redesign’ their icons for all platform.
Apple (re-)introduced ARM based architecture for desktop?
Cross platform app devs: “This is the time guys, now we must create ARM binary build for sure”.

I like listening to podcasts. I like to listen them on a dedicated podcast player. Dedicated podcast player means support for chapter markers, custom thumbnail, clickable timestamp on shownotes, etc.
Some of my favorite shows moved to be Spotify exclusives. I don’t like Spotify as podcast player. I do like Spotify as music player.
spotifeed.timdorr.com turns Spotify exclusive podcasts to a regular RSS feed for your favorite PODCAST player.
I just knew that you can increment/decrement macOS' sound, brightness, keyboard backlight in a smaller value per-press by holding ⌥ and ⇧ while adjusting. Note that adjustment by most external keyboard won’t work. Source from idownloadblog’s posts.
Service Workers to the rescue!
Trying to learn Radiohead’s True Love Waits on piano and guitar. This is a beautiful, simple song that truly expose our most depressing feelings.
Anyone using Brave Browser got redirected to GitHub site when trying to access archive.is or any of web archive instance?
I just got this issue and commented on the GitHub post, and eventually many others experiencing the same also commented.
I implemented WebMention for this site! Will make a post about this soon. This is a destressing side project because I’ve been stuck for a difficult task at work. Now continue working!
I shared this to my coworkers 2 weeks ago and they approved that this helps: Prevent MacBook with Thunderbolt 3 ports for overheating by use only right ports.
Upgraded my Macbook 7,1 (White Unibody mid 2010) to 8GiB RAM and 128GiB SSD. It feels blazing fast now ⚡️
Turns out I set the wrong
guid for the RSS template. Fixed. Now RSS should work fine :D
GoodNotes 5 is now Universal Purchase! Fortunate me, not directly purchase on both platform and just fetch the iOS version instead. The mac app is cool and light.
Springcleaned My Gmail. Took a while. I used Gmail’s web interface, no fancy desktop mail app.
Is telling friend to use shortcut instead of mouse while peer programming considered Micromanaging?
iA Writer’s Syntax Highlighting turns out slowing my writings and makes them not genuine. Turning it off up until I needed to edit the text.
CMD+<Assigned Function on top of F3 key> can be used to show desktop on Mac. Useful if using external keyboard and mouse.
Bought iA Writer. This app is limiting in some ways, but nice to have. Main feature is robust, save for iPadOS keyboard shortcut.
Now I both subscribed to Bear, and have iA Writer.
It’d be nice if there is iOS & iPadOS app to override external keyboard input to emulate Vim keybindings.
I made this file, and the block content on the main RSS file with iOS Shortcuts App.
Multiple actions to open x-callback-url is difficult.
Subscribed to Bear. After tried Ulysses and Bear, in the end I choose Bear. I like the Headings representation of Ulysses, though.
